A Quick Word on Weight
Two tons covers most cleanouts and remodels with no trouble. Some loads get heavy faster than others, especially when you’re tossing a lot of dense material. If you’re unsure how much weight your project will make, mention it when you call. We’ll help you plan so you aren’t surprised by the final bill.
What Can’t Go in a Dumpster
For safety and landfill rules, keep these out: oil, gasoline, solvents and other fluids; TVs and computer equipment; wet paint; batteries; hazardous chemicals; asbestos; fluorescent tubes; medical waste; and tires (unless they’re added as an extra-fee item). When in doubt, ask. We’re happy to answer that question before you start loading.
Delivery and Pickup: What to Expect by Town
We aim to deliver and pick up within 24 hours of your request. Since we’re based in Four Oaks, a lot of Johnston County is a short drive for us:
- Four Oaks and Benson: right in our backyard, just minutes up or down US-301
- Smithfield and Selma: a quick run up US-301
- Clayton and the Cleveland area: a straight shot over on NC-42 or US-70
- Raleigh, Garner, and the rest of the Triangle: regular service on our routes
Exact timing depends on the day’s schedule, so the earlier you call, the better your chance of getting the window you want. Our hours are Monday through Saturday from 8 AM to 5 PM and Sunday from noon to 5 PM.

Driveway or Street? A Quick Note on Placement
Most of our Johnston County customers put the dumpster in their driveway. On private property, you usually don’t need any special permission. A few tips:
- Leave enough room for our truck to back in and set the container down.
- Watch for overhead wires and low branches.
- On a softer driveway, or if you’re worried about the surface, ask us about placement before delivery day.
Putting a dumpster on the street or in a public right-of-way is a different story. Some towns may require a permit, and the rules vary from place to place. We’ll cover that in a separate post. For now, if street placement is your only option, mention it when you book so we can talk it through.
